What was the highlight of Ramada by Wyndham Doha Old Town
Good option in the very center of Doha, especially when you stay only for few days.
The room is clean and there are no smells. The bed was made every day and a little cleaning was done. Liked the location, it's easy to reach hotel by subway, also, it is close to the city center and museums.
The room is very large (they made free upgrade for me), but rather witless. There are rare spot light sources on the ceiling, and in general there is little light. There is a table and it was good so as I had to use laptop but I needed extra light for cofortable work with it. The curtain opens only on one panoramic window, but not on the others. The air conditioner cannot be set above 20 degrees (too cold for me), I have to turn it off completely (fortunately, this is possible). Light switches do not work on one side of the bed. The light bulb in the closet didn't work either, and when I touched it, I was electrocuted (room 915). I did not like the breakfast, it is very poor. Before that, I lived in Ezdan, it's much better there. Also, no bath, only shower dark and frightening either =)

A convenient location near everything and a good value for money.
The location is a walking distance to Souq Waqif, museum of Islamic art & metro station. The metro can take you to all the major attractions in Doha. It is a very good value for money.
The facilities are a bit old. The room is not very soundproof.

Hotel is far 500 m from Metro station. Breakfast was good.

Good Value in a Central Location
Room was very large and comfortable. I got breakfast one day and it is great value. The hotel is within walking distance of the corniche and souq. Staff were always at hand to answer questions.
Gym a bit dated. Noise travelled between my room and neighbouring areas.
